Summerfield UMC is a small congregation on the east side of Milwaukee.  Every Saturday evening they serve dinner to about 100 disadvantaged clients from their neighborhood.  For some of these clients, this may be the best meal they have all week.  They can only do this with the help of participating congregations.  On November 2, 2019 it will again be Gethsemane’s turn for this worthwhile cause.  We will need volunteers to go downtown to help with the serving (Meet at church at 2:15pm to make sandwiches and carpool downtown. Serving time is from 4-6pm.)  In addition, milk, fruit punch, desserts, and other items are needed.  A sign-up sheet is in the Community Center.
