XYZ – “EXTRA YEARS OF ZEST” SENIOR GROUP  (age 60 and older) First Event!

We are excited to announce our first XYZ trip for 2021 to Shalom Wildlife Zoo (shalomwildlife.com) in West Bend followed by lunch at the Sawmill Inn in Richfield on Tuesday, September 14.  We will leave GUMC at 8:00 a.m. to arrive at opening. 

Shalom Zoo is home to 75 species with more than 750 animals.  Many animals have large natural habitats giving you an atmosphere of more like a park.  You will have the chance to pet and feed many different species.  Grain can be purchased for the animals at check-in.  “Feed me” signs are posted as to which animals you can feed.  There are 4 miles of gravel roads, however, golf cart rentals are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  They hold 4 people at $30/cart.
