The Walk Lenten Study - All Are Welcome!

  • Gethsemane United Methodist Church (map)

Please join us on Wednesdays (3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30, 4/6) from 6:30-7:30 during Lent to share in a Bible study and fellowship time (coffee and dessert will be available).

How do we walk with Christ? In The Walk, Adam Hamilton focuses on five essential spiritual practices that are rooted in Jesus’ own walk with God and taught throughout the New Testament. In each chapter, Hamilton explores one of these practices and what it looks like to pursue this practice daily in our personal life and together in the life of the church. Deepen your walk with Christ as we explore the practices of worship and prayer, study, serving, giving, and bearing witness to our faith.

We will use a book for the study (one per family). The cost of the book is $10. We will let you know when the books are available for purchase/pickup. Jill Wohlfeil will lead the adult study. Children (Pre-K through 5th Grade) and youth (6th Grade through High School) will participate in games, activities, and crafts related to the study. Nate and Jessica Jansky will lead the children and youth programs.

Please sign up on the bulletin board by the front doors or by calling the office (262-691-3240). You do not need to come every Wednesday to participate, but please let us know which evenings you will be attending.

The study is open to EVERYONE—families, couples, and singles! Join us for evenings of fellowship with your Gethsemane family. We look forward to seeing you.
